What is Cancer?
Cancer occur when abnormal cells divide and multiply in an uncontrolled manner. One group of cells called a tumor or cancer if left untreated it can grow and spread into other tissues.
The tumor cells will covered the normal cells and take nourishment from the cells. This tumors may be cancerous. Cancer cells will grow and spread to other body organs through the bloodstream and lymphatic.
Everyone probably has cancer cells in their body. These cancer cells do not show up in the tests or examinations until they have multiple to several million.
Cancer cells do not have a special form, it exists in different sizes and differ from healthy cells which have a uniform shape. It can be clearly seen under the microscope.
How Does Cancer Cells Multiply (metastasis) ?
The process of metastasis occurs when cancer cells create a 'path' (pathway) and infect tissues from one tissue to another. Eventually the multiplying cancer cells will spread from the starting area to other organs through the bloodstream or lymphatic system, which in turn can damage organs in the body.
Will Cancer Repeated (relapse / recurrence) After Treatment?
Yes! Cancer is a disease that can recur even after treatment. The incidence rate of cancer recurrence or relapse is dependent on the type of the cancer, patient strength, adequate treatment and there are also studies showing that individuals with inner strength, positive and stable emotions can fight cancer more efficient and have better cure rates.
